Harley-Davidson

Summer Internship 2021

In collaboration with transportation designer Riley McKee, we explored the design, color and materials of motorcycles while focusing on the zillennial female rider. The new consumer is opening opportunities for inclusivity, streaming design, and sensorial design. While researching the history of Harley-Davidson women riders, the importance of historical icons Bessie Stringfield and Vivian Bales came across. Their life stories and empowering attitudes were translated into color, materials, graphics, and pattern palettes.
