Freshmen year of my undergraduate degree, I declared my minor in Craft and Material Studies: Fibers and Textiles. This thesis was created to bridge the two disciplines together. Highlighting the relationship between the making, applying, and how that effects our spaces. Right in the middle of this project, is also when COVID-19 sent the world into an international shut down.

I invite you to hold your breath and dive into the uncontainable endless depths of the blue sphere with no boundaries or sense of orientation, to observe the outlandish color and texture that an alien creature omits, to reach for the light found in the dark and the unknown elements of the deep. To have questions answered, and new ones formed. This journey will provide an opportunity to experience an enigmatic world of the blue sphere.
